hi all, im putting a race bike back together and have come across a potential problem with the fuel pump. having read the thread concerning the fuel pump relay and totally agree with roger on that one. my concern is that it being a race bike the fuel pump is wired directly to the ignition with no relay. mori man says some racers do this to keep the fuel flowing if there is high demand. roger says that the pump will give you 4x more fuel than you need. the manual says once positive pressure is reached in the float bowl the fuel pump will turn off. no relay, pump under constant load fuel pi**es out of the overflows. question is do i wire in a new relay or is there any thing im missing regarding the wiring???
