My Bike: zxr 400 1996

Zxr400 not starting after riding

Hi all

I had my bike jet washed the other day and since then my bike starts fine in the morning then I start riding for ever how long, turn it off wait 5 mins and it will not start again it try's to start but does not fire up I have to wait about 15 to 20 mins till it starts again.., any idea? Thankyou

how high up is the temp needle when you stop?

It's fine now mate cheers anyway was because my ht leads was wet from the jet wash

I would never put a jet wash near my car, never mind a bike, horrible bloody things.
Is this the bike with the cross threaded spark plug??? I assume the HT lead to this plug will let in water that bit easier, or did you get this sorted???

Please please do not jet wash a ZXR, it really will not be happy afterwards, even if you follow Mr Kawasaki's washing instructions, ie wrapping and plugging this is for a gentle hose wash.

A guy who used to be on here, he has a few good vloggie thingies on the tube, forget his name now, but on one of said vlogs left his ZXR with one of those jet wash type washy places manned by, let's say not expert valetting pros, he was all chuffed with how clean it was, I was in tears watching it.
Does the low seat height reflect the low intelligence? Easier to get an asshole onto.

I've learnt my lesson lol never jet wash it again! I got the spark plug checked out and it wasn't cross threaded thank god !

And here's the weird bit, the vlogger guy I mentioned, just noticed his name on the main board, happy birthday bit, freeeeaaaaaakkkkkkky.
