Pilot screw out to richen the mixture, that´s right! H-Model has 2 1/4 out but with dj needle i would try only 2 turns out.

Oem Needles (marked with N77 or so) don´t have clip-positions so you´ll probably have aftermarket ones...
I wouldn´t change the main jet if there´s no problem with the current one... Can´t tell for the H-Model but the L has 95 mains stock in Germany and with K&N Filter, modded airbox and open endcan you could use 100... However your needle will change the circumstances so I can´t recommend you anything but "never change a running system"

Cheers

spot on, take it to a dyno place, get an air/fuel printout and post it up here, this will tell you if you are lean/rich anywhere in your current setup, that will tell you where/if its possible to alter your mix.

Cheers for reply dominik..i have a non modded airbox and dj needles with k+n filter..aftermarket exhaust..i read on here that standard jetting can restrict the motor so wanted to upjet anyway though as its running exhaust/filter..is it best to take snorkel off??.it had been standing for 5 months in the rain and shite so carbs were blocked and filled with water!!.all sorted and clean now so will put back on and see what it runs like.(when I've done valve clearances!)so 2 turns out on pilots yes?..
