hi all, looking to get one made in the future....any ideas on how i should instruct them to do where the fuel petcock is? or would it be a good idea to use an original petcock and bolt it on? any ideas welcome :)

Why do you need a petcock? Just fit 2 ports in the bottom of the tank, one goes to the fuel pump the other has a tube and a bung in the end so you can drain the tank if needed.

A racing tank is only a few liters of fuel so probably no real need to drain it either.

You only need a pet cock for 1. A reserve ability or 2. If you think your carb float needles are leaking fuel into the engine (I. E. The ability to shut off the fuel entirely), do you think WSB/MotoGP bikes have a fuel petcock?

Or just fit an inline fuel tap along the fuel hose somewhere that you can access from the Lhs of the bike.
