Zxr400 carbs - trick or not

Hi. These carbs came off a super tricky endurance bike in the 90s and I have had them since. I can’t tell what a flatslide or cv looks like and the bloke that gave them me told me they were a bit special as had this sort of ceramic top to the inlet. Anyone seen anything like them and can you tell me what they are? Thanks
