k and n filter

k and n filter

Hi all i am in the middle of stripping the bike to service it and wd everything and was planning on changing the air filter and was wandering if it is worth putting a k and n on instead of the standard one i have a s/s exhaust and a set of ngk iridium plugs in would i need bigger jets for the filter or will it run ok without and adivse would be a great help thanks!

Most of the racers use the standard filter i beleive, its just as good as the K&N filter, so i guess you could leave the standard one in there with no problems. Might be worth just popping the plugs out and see what they look like, if the fueling isnt right youll see from the state of the plugs :)

all i was thinkin was the k and n is suppose to last for years and the standard one is about 12 month so ad be savin in the long run.
the old plugs were oiled up but it was stood for ages before i bought it so i put new ngks in
