throttle response

Post by pete »

hi every1 after taking my zxr out for a blast (the first time in ages) i noticed that from tick over if i open the throttle too quickly the engine stutters asif it is flooding the tiny little bores. how can i avoid this? is it simple as carbs need balancing or wat? help much apreciated!

only a ickle flatspot, probably needs a new airfilter and some carb cleaner blasted down the carbs, new plugs bobs your uncle.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

my racebike zxr4 does this mate, i would'nt worry. you dont need that down there anyways do ya? whats it like further up?

like said above, check them things out, and if its still the same, its all part of the love the zxr gives us, and then rejoice with me and slip that clutch
