please help!!!!!

hey all....my throttle cable recently snapped on me n wen i disconected it from the drive at the wheel all was fine....then i noticed that the cable is either stuck in the top drive at the speedo or its jst the way its meant to be! i have looked for a new speedo cable n seen that it doesnt come with the top drive....is this just a wrong image for the product or is my cable stuck in the top drive system???? incase i havent been clear its the part that holds the cable n screws onto the speedometer!

Ummm, you mean your speedo cable?

Am i right in saying you can disconnect the cable 'sheath' from down at the front wheel but not up by the speedo? If so then it just unscrews from the back of the speedo. Hope that helps, or have i got the wrong en of the stick here?

hi mate, think you mean your speedo cable not the throttle cable, it should have a square section at both ends and a collar that screws onto the clocks and the speedo drive. see the microfiche herefor piccy.

oh toad yeh...i do mean the speedo cable!
sorry im drugged up on diazapam at the mo due to muscle spazms!
