Hi Guys, I am looking at replacing my fuel pump & keeping the old one as a spare, I do not want to go genuine to save a few bucks, is there any particular specs I should be looking for? or are samller pumps like this all the same?

There are micro-fiches on this site that give you the part numbers.
Doesn't tell you the spec as such, but is a good starting point.

as far as i know mate, kawasaki fitted the same pump to almost everything they made in the early 90's , so hardly model specific.. i used to have a zzr1100 pump on mine ...
if looking after market you just need something with the same max pressure or it'll flood the carbs.

I am looking at building up a set of spares for the race bike & I have had a pump go before on a different race bike, so its on the list, normally I would just get one from a wrecker, but I have a shop near by that sells different types so I thought I might give them a go hence needing the specs
