expansion tank capacity

does anyone know the volume of coolant in the overflow tank? im after getting one made but want to make sure i get it big enough. cheers peeps.

I may stand corrected here but any size will do - within reason. Basically, the expansion tank serves to collect the hot (expanded) coolant and allows it to transfer back into the system once cooled. If you still have the original, just measure the amount it takes to fill it and make one from that. The original system will use the overflow if it expands too much anyway.
