Hi I recently bought a l9 1999 engine to pur into my h1 model. Now everything was going fine until i noticed there was a hose coming out of the cylinder block. The hose is to the left of the thermostat housing. The hose itsself is thin rubber hose with a little plastic chamber in the middle of it. Now when i filled it up with coolant and started it up coolant started to come out of the end of this hose. I need to know what this hose it what it does and were it goes! any help will be great! Thanks

Hi the reason i pmed is beacuase ive already looked through all of the manuals and it dosent show were the pipe goes too. Also frmo looking at other pctures of just engines it seems to be only the full uk spec models that have these hoses. If that helps at all?

:ffs

who else have you pm'd ?
Oh and the info is in that manual, on the diagram.
The chances are high that someone has asked this question before.
Dont be lazy, search the forums.

Ive posted a thread about a rear shock.
Posted at 7pm, had 3 views and no replies....
I aint gonna start pm-ing people......

One more thing.
It is 90% obvious you are asking for help, hence the reason you have made a new thread.
There is no need to put "Please Help!" in the title.
Doesnt really give us any info.
Most of the views this thread has had is dude to people wanting to know whats in here.

You could just wait until someone replies..... and try being patient.

This is what's become great about this forum :smt009

Would it not have been easier to say " It's one of the pipes that connects to the carb's for the de-iceing circuit " rather than writting Nurinburg speaches ? :smt015

No looking at manual, no doing searches , just a plain simple responce to a question :ffs

Cheers mori, as ive still got H carbs on the engine it hasent got somewere for the pipe to attatch too so can i just block the pipe up by maybe crimping it? would the cooling system still work fine if the pipe was blocked up?
