I had a overheating problem which caused the head gasket to go. i replaced that and now its over heating
again . so i removed rad to check it was ok and i have discovered loads of bent fins. i have sorted those but
i have a area the size of a tennis ball where all the fins have completely crushed in and will need to be removed.
The rad does not leak but how much damage to fins is exceptable ? please help

jet washer. holds pressure fine but just trying to work out over heating problem and this id the first problem i have
found so far. well that and a gunked up rad cap.

Do one thing at a time then you know what the problem was
I would do a couple of flushes first
