***DO NOT DO THIS ON A HOT/WARM ENGINE***
really

Pull the rad cap off, start the bike and look down the filler hole.
if you see a steady stream of bubbles then the head isnt seated correctly and the gasket isnt sealing.

they would have drained the cooling system to fit the new HG, might just be small pockets of air being released from inside the cylinder bore/thermostat area, top it up with coolant after squeezing all the pipes to release any trapped air bubbles and see if it happens again.

There either an awful lot of air in there or the head gasket hasnt sealed properly.
You can check the head gasket seal with a compression test. If its not sealing then it will more than likely need replacing. But if a show has done it, take it back and tell them what the issue is.

A compression test may not show the head gasket leak, I did one on mine but the head gasket had just gone from the water jacket to the external of the engine, was dripping down the front of the engine onto the exhaust
