I would but the bikes running rich, and very hot so need summin a bit stronger that water

says 50/50 mix in the manual as the water can damage aluminum parts ?
i use the stuff from wilko - cause its cheap ! its either 2 or 3 quid for a litre

I doubt if the coolant will make much difference. In reality the whole collant thing is just a simple heat transfer - from engine to collant and from coolant to air (at the radiator). If the bike is overheating there is a real problem that needs to be sorted before damage. Have you flushed out the radiator/ checked for blockages/ is the thermostatic valve working properly (if not it could be holding the temperature high) etc etcCaNsA wrote:I would but the bikes running rich, and very hot so need summin a bit stronger that water

If running very hot it could also be headgasket failure!

Cheers for the info guys.
Im 98% sure it aint a blown HG, i have a power filter and an after market can on there and the bike aint hasnt had any jet work done yet. I keep promising the bike that ill take it up there but stuff always comes up.
