hi guys, first post on here.
first.just done a near total rebuid (engine not touched)and ive just started it for the first time since ive had it. when it warmed up i found water leak from the tail tell hole under the water pump, i removed the pump and stripped it down, the mechanical seal looked ok but there are no ref numbers on it, the micro fiche shows a whole pump.
has anybody got any info on the seal i need or found a replacement that fits
second. also got an oil leak from the left hand front corner of the head gasket, wemoto does not list one, is there any other suppliers the forum use.
many thanks
sean

Re: water pump rebuild
Somebody tell him were to get Kawasaki parts from my keyboard has worn away the right letters to spell it out
A good bearing and seal supplier might just be able to get you a water pump seal but you'd need to take it to them to measure if theres no code on it.
I think I've got a water pump in my box of stuff to sell

Re: water pump rebuild
no, it is weeping from the small hole between the pump and engine case, not from the drain hole or where the pump fits into the engine case. cheers
