Hiya bud, im a painter that specialises in bikes and just did an L8 in the same scheme as yours. I used a custom colour mix but the official code is 7f if I mind right. I used the custom shade as I had excess already mixed from another zxr which had been repainted although shade was spot on anyway. I found the 7f was a bit on the yellow side hence the custom shade but id either look at buying the 7f code or send the upper tank plastic where the tubes plug into away to get colour matched and do it that way. Colour matching is very accurate with solid colours like the green so thats your best bet but also tell the paint supplier the code as will be best mixing the stock shade and tinting it to match if it is a little off. Are you rattle canning it or using a paint gun?

Thanks for commenting buddy, so i do plan do use rattle can as i dont havrle access to a gun, do you where would be a beat place to get a colour match? I think Halfords do it? Its mostly a touch up job for the green and the creamyish white and maybe a new re-spray for rims

Nah dodge halfords lol, id recommend giving paint4u.com a shout as they can mix propper basecoat in a can for you. That way you get the same paint as you would if ordered in a tin for a paint gun only thinned more to work in a spray can. Would be ideal for wheels but maybe watch doing a "touch up" as they are the hardest type of job a painter can do really. Paint needs to be blended into the surrounding painted area which is fine for basecoat but blending clear coat in a small area can often be near impossible to do without seeing masking lines and or dryspray. If you can, fire a photo of the bit your needing painted and il give you the best options for going about fixing it. Should also note that halfords paint or any spray can paint that offers colour and gloss from the same can will be a 1k acrylic enamel type paint which will be prone to attack from any solvent so never use that on fuel tanks or clean with solvents or your paint job will fall on the floor... the standard procedure is basecoat clear coat where your colour (basecoat) is applied, then over coated with a clear coat to protect and give it gloss as basecoat offers zero protection or gloss and is purely to get the colour. Clear coat comes in either 1k or 2k which determines how resistant it is to chemical attack. 2k means 2 part so mix part A with part B for a chemical reaction which crosslinks molecules to harden the paint. 1k is just normal rattle can spray it on and thats it. You can get 2k in a can but it's more expensive and must be used within say 4 hours of activating it. Usually you pop a button on the bottom of the can and it mixes the activator with the clear coat. 4 hrs is plenty time to finish painting but it means any excess left in the can will go hard and is basically trash if not used since it chemically hardens and doesn't rely on solvent evaporation to dry. Sorry a lot of info in one message but hopefully gives a better picture of the process etc. Don't be put off painting though as you can totally do a decent job with cans. Give paints4u a call and explain your situation and they will guide you to the best solution. Be warned though that propper painting that looks decent can be expensive so dont expect a 5er a can. They do aerosol kits so id go with either the direct gloss repair kit or the basecoat repair kit. Heres a link to where you need to look.
