My baby has just ticked over the 37000 mile mark had it since 32000 about 12 months ago. just changed the oil and filter, tyres, downpipes, rear brake pads (fronts are ok), chain and sprockets are ok is there any thing else that i could do with doing that i dont know about. ive done all my work myself and wouldnt mind learning a bit more.

On my no.1 carb ive got oil dripping onto the sprocket cover and i dont know where its coming from as its only a little bit so it doesnt bother me but.... is it a sign of bad things to come.

I use it everyday so any bits i can do / adjust myself would help me out alot.

cheers guys n girls

Valve clearances would be my suggestion, give the cam chain tensioner a look too, see how far that has extended and the air filter. And after you have done all that a carb balance :) Should be sweet as a nut after that.

its a sign there is a pipe missing from the airbox and its dripping all over your carbs! :smt003

on the left hand side there should be a pipe that runs from the airbox down by the sprocket cover with a bung in the end, check see if the pipe is there at all, if it is then drain it by taking the bung out the bottom, get a jar under it to catch any overflowing oil & god knows what!
