Oil on spark plugs

Hey guys just sorted out my new engine and was just checking the spark plugs and found that there is oil on them! Not the usual spot either.
The oil is sitting on the top part of the thread where the circle washer is. Now where and how has this got here? The HT leads are clean so is the inside of the cylinders where the spark plug goes so the 'o' ring are fine as I know this is a general problem.
Does anyone know if this is a problem (or am I just being silly as I dont normally worry about these things) as I just want to get out and ride now getting bored of driving the car
