crossthreaded sump

right so my sump has been cross threaded do i need a whole new sump plaet or has anyone else used a helicoil or anythig like that? any help would be great thanks.

Try mailin those guys at AMS motorsport on ebay, they are the ones that are selling every single bit of a ZXR 400 on ebay at the moment. They have most parts in stock.

nah ive treid that ive fond a scondhand sump and its from a l1 will it fit my '96? cheerrs.

should do, the only changes to the engines i am aware of was internally through the L models.

All sumps will fit from a H1 - L9
Helicoil is fine i have had one done where some one before me had done the same
