Conrod rebuild

I am slowly getting ready to do something close to a complete engine rebuild, and I just ran into a problem with the conrods. Not only are they not availible from Kawasaki anymore, but the manual completely ignores the small end. The parts microfiche suggests there is no bushing in the small end. It could probably be sleeved or something, given there is plenty of material to machine, but there are no specs in the manual to start with. Has anyone reconditioned the conrods, does anyone have any specs, or does anyone know of a decent aftermarket conrod source? thanks for any input.

Are your´s broken or why do you want to replace them?
In Germany you can´t bye them anymore, too...
