Advice replacement engine?!

Ask them to perform a leakdown test, if air comes up from the valves then its a dead valve, if its rings then you will hear the air from the crank breather...

First things first, identify what's knackered, if its a valve and the rest of the bike is fine then buy a replacement engine/complete head and sell the bits you don't need on here. If its a ring you can buy new sets for £40 but.labour from a garage will push it up to about £150-200...

Could be shim related then. Lift the rocker cover and check around the valves over cylinder one.

I'm selling this bike now

Check in items for sale.

Bought black ZXR in mean time then my little boy was born.

So no time at the moment. Can't leave them sitting to rot.
