when im driving at fast speeds as im accelerating off in 3rd when i go to change into 4th gear they get stuck and dont go into place properly... i dont know how to describe it properly, they repeatedly clunk - like a knocking, where the cams obviously arent going into place.
i asked at the garage why this was happening and they said cos my clutch was on the nearest setting i wasnt pulling it in enough for the gears to change properly... which i guess would make sense, except im lazy and dont use my clutch to change gears at speed?!!?!
any suggestions?!?! i really want to stop this before i knacker my gear box!!!
gears keep getting stuck

They could be right or more to do with the clutch not being adjusted right and the springs arent pulling on it correctly, try to get 3-4mm of play at the lever after adjusting and see if that helps, could be also a sticky gear lever, strip and clean. take it chain and sprockets are in good nick? Hope some of that helps

try adjusting the gear change linkage sometimes that makes a difference.

you can adjust by turning the linkage rod.
