Hi people, can anyone tell me if 1998 L motor will fit into 1990 H frame,
and what needs to be changed? (cdi - coils, ect;) kindly advise.

I do believe the engines will swap with no modification, but dont quote me on it. On of the racers on here (sloweracing) has done it, he can advise you further.

Hmmm interesting. well in theory if the engine is the same or similar dimensions, it should fit, you shouldn't i dont think need to change the cdi or coils, as they both rev at 14,000 redline n the coils stil make a spark. but im not sure how diffrent they are really. i think some1 said the rads bigger on the more recent bikes compared to old H models, which would otherheat, so check the brackets, other than that i cant say.
