A little worried. Alarming strained noise when pulling away.

When I pull away from standstill, she seems to have a tendancy to make a bit of a grinding, struggling noise. I can't think how to describe it better without being able to listen to it and then immediately post. Sound like anything fairly common, or even better, something that I shouldn't be worried about at all?

Sounds like a shot wheel bearing to me. Get each end of the bike in the air and give the wheel a turn, see how it sounds.

I'll check out all the above points. Thanks chaps.
Mind you, I would hope Elliot's had checked all the above points when they serviced her, so hmm.
