What is the point of the clutch swith?
Reason i ask is i changed my clutch leaver and switch and the bike didn't run right (overfueling and misfiring) so looked and the old switch and the plunger had been cut off?
So i cut the plunger off the new one and the bike ran perfect?
So what does this switch do?
Clutch Switch?

Re: Clutch Switch?
Amazing how cutting off that little switch cured an "overfueling " problem

Re: Clutch Switch?
Well the exhaust was popping and there was no power once out of first and engine kept cutting out at first when releasing the clutch to pull off
But like I said once the plunger was cut off the bike was fine

Re: Clutch Switch?
I believe its only function is part of stopping you pulling out with the side stand down. If the stands down and you begin to let the clutch out it cuts out. No other use than that i would say.
As for your problem being cured, a large coincidence with something else you have disturbed and sorted the problem??
