Clutch rattling

Ciao to everybody....
I'm rebuilding my zxr400 that i've bought some months ago...i've solved 90% of the problems but one is still alive.......a rattling sound from clutch area at idle until 1500/2000rpm...
Right, this rattle has been going on since I've owned the bike which has been since November 2007.

I start the bike up, and there's this very horrible grinding sort of rattle coming from the clutch area on idle. As soon as the revs goes past 1500rpm the rattle stops.
When i'm in neutral and I pull the clutch lever the rattle disappears. Soon as I let the clutch out the rattle reappears and when the gear is inserted the rattle stay until 1500/2000 rpm...after that...its disappear...

What it could be?
I've to change my clutch (disc or cluthc basket?)
It is a clutch problem or it could be a damaged gearbox?
Thanks a lot for the help and sorry for my english!
Ciao
Arian

Because i know the kawasaki has rattling....but i've a race ninja zx6r (2004) but it doesn't has any noise like this one......

I have the same problem with mine, ive narrowed it down to the release bearing or the bearing between the two clutch plates. Have no idea what sort of price parts are yet though vsad
