push rod

Post by Dolts »

Hi all, can somebody tell me if there is supposed to be a lot of movement on the push rod?

Can i assume that when you pull the clutch lever, it infact pulls on the rod and pulls the plates apart?

Problem im having is that when i pull on the lever,it feels like the cutout on the operating lever is just pushing against the push/pull rod,not pulling on it, and it isnt disengaging the clutch, the bike doesnt run at the moment, but when i put it into gear, i still cant turn the front sprocket with the clutch pulled in.

The operating lever doesnt seem to move very much, if at all

Am i fitting it wrong somehow?

There was a post not that long ago regarding these. They do wear and could be your problem.
