clutch plates
Hi guys, Just re-assembling a clutch, I seem to have seen somewhere that the outermost steel plate should be fitted with the dogs in the next cut-out in the basket, rather than in the same slot as the inner ones ? Seems a bit odd, can't imagine what this would achieve ? but what to I know ? Is the remaing memory cell completely shot, am I imgining this ? Advice appreciated. And a great new year to everyone.

Re: clutch plates
The manual states:
Install the friction plates and steel plates, starting with a
friction plate and alternating them.
Install the last friction plate fitting the tangs in the
groove on the housing
