Basically when I pull my clutch lever in fully, there is still quite alot of resistance from the gears. I have tried tightening the cable at both ends (actuator rod and lever) however this just makes the clutch stiffer but not disengage properly.

Is this a symptom of new plates required or a new basket or the whole thing?
