cable or clutch

Hi all having problems with the clutch replaced cable and now the clutch only disengages when the leaver is right on the bar and the cable has no more adjustment ????

Where are you adjusting it?

There is one adjustment on the lever, another just in front of your right foot.

Adjusted it from both ends cant get any more slack out of the cable

you got the right cable? from memory the H and L are different lengths. (or is that throttle cables?)

Yer got cable from wemoto , tis like the control arm has to move more than the cable will let it

Do all the l models have the same length cable

The L2 I'm currently working on has been fitted with some kind of NON Kawasaki after market clutch cable.
It is defo too long and the adjustment cannot take up the slack. Which seems to me to describe your problem exactly.

Is there a return spring , as has virtual no return on the control arm

Unless of course you consider the clutch springs to be "return" springs

I think it's the clutch springs
