KBATL swap.

Hi all,
Has anyone swapped and fitted the KBATL clutch to the H1 engine?
If so is it just the Clutch drum, steels and pressure plate required? As the KBATL clutch assembly I have has a broken basket (2 fractured fingers)
Baskets look the same but I'm trying to confirm before going too far.

Not sure, I think the bottom end is the same on the H + L but have a look at the part numbers

Been right through the 'clutch section' one post hints at being able to do the swap but doesn't confirm in detail about the baskets.
Been through microfiches and workshop manuals, parts numbers are different but that doesn't always mean incompatible. :smt017

If you're on it, would you mind to weigh both clutches? I'd be interested in how much the h1 one might be lighter

H1 clutch no clutch basket or centre pin, butt all steels, drum, cover, bolts, springs, nut and washers 1451grams

H2 as listed above 1951grams

Hope this helps with your weight saving quest.

And no H2 internals require a centre lip machining on basket to safely fit in a H1 basket.
