Changing the clutch basket

Got a replacement clutch basket to go in, even got the right tool to hold
the hub and stop it spinning. But the nut that holds the hub on!! The 30mm
socket appears to be too big, and looks like it could damage the nut if
used. I've tried to measure the nut across the flats, and to me looks like
29mm. Anyone know if this is right? I'm not even sure if you can buy a
29mm socket. I'm assuming as it's a Japanese bike, the nut's not
imperial.

cheers.

An adjstable spanner won't get in to get enough purchase on the nut, hence the reason
I'm looking for a socket.
Both the local Halfords have 27mm sockets, then jump to 30mm, that's why I asked
about 29mm ones. If you're sure a 29mm is easily got, then I'll get out looking.

Cheers

Thanks for that! There's a place in Glasgow I'll try first, and if they don't have one,
I'll get onto that link to ebay. Cheers!
