zx400 is this going to be a problem ?

Post by quaidpinder »

I noticed on my zx400 there is a noise difference from the engine when holding the clutch lever in while the bike is stationary , sounds like a possible clutch problem ?? sounds rougher then when the lever is left in normal position ?like a slight grinding or something ? any thoughts anyone ??? :smt017

99% of zxr400s are like it mate so maybe this originated in the zx400? and decided to follow it on with the zxrs? if it was a zxr i'd say don't worry but i think they use pretty much the same engines dont they?
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Mine has that, and it's post full service, so either it's nothing to worry about, or Elliots are going to be having some very blue conversations with me in time.
