Adjusting Clutch

Post by kb-zxr »

How do you adjust the clutch cable slack at the engine end (not lever end) as mine is really bad. Put it in gear with the clutch in and the bike bounces a bit like its trying to bite.

Thanks

At the bottom cable passes through the arm it pulls, there is a nut either side of the arm. You can move the cable through by tighten up.

I have a brand new clutch cable and it too seems too long. The cable is fully adjusted at both ends???

Is changing the clutch plates neccessary, and is it hard to do?
I have a spare engine to take bits off if need be.
