Post by Geffro »

Hi guys, I found someone who will fit tyres on my wheels for free, the only problem is he can't balance them for me, is this a big problem & what are the concequences? Cheers!

You might get a judder at high speeds. You can always get somewhere else to balance them before you get the tyres on, it's not normally expensive.

If you can get the weights, you can balance them yourself on axle stands, i've done my own in the past and never had a problem.

What would be the point in balancing them without the tyres on, other than to have to do it again when you'd fitted the tyres?
