Pirelli Tyre Pressures?

Post by JayQ »

It's official, The Pirelli Moto Website is useless, equally so is the reply I received from their customer services.

Just bought a set of Pirelli Diablo 120/17 & 160/17 ZR17 H-Rated tyres(£136 delivered), but cannot find the recomended tyre pressures anywhere!!

Bridgestone and Metz webbys are kind enough to give recommended pressures but Pirelli seem to omit this information. I contacted them via there website and their answer...... contact my bike manufacturer!

Got them set at 32 and 36psi but not sure.

Bridgestone BT014 recommend 2.5bar(36psi) & 2.9bar(42psi).
Metz M1 recommend 2.25bar(32psi) & 2.5bar(36psi).

Anyone got these guys or know the answer? (maybe a job for you at pirelli if you do!)

I was told when I got mine that if you're unsure go with 36psi all round, don't know if this is correct or not but it's what I've been doing ever since.

On a side note, who do you play for JayQ? SPC? (Avatar picture has prompted the question)

Oh and btw, I have Bridgestone's on mine, not Pirelli's.
