Just a quick question, I need a rear tyre for my bike. Its got bridgestone bt020 160 width at the moment.

A mate of mine has offered to give my his spare supercorsa's front and rear for £20, but its 180 width, will it be ok on my bike? ive seen a few answers in search but not 100%.

Any help will be greatful thanks

No I'm pretty sure it won't fit. I know someone who uses a 180 rear on his ZXR on a ZX9R rim, but that needs the hanger modifying and playing about with spacers I think. So no it's not a direct fit

180 is too big on a stock wheel, even the pirelli 160 race tire is pinched on a stock wheel.
