yeh - pair it up with another BT014. But my personal recommendation would be to flog the part worn BT014 rear on ebay and stick a set of sportec M3s on. A *much* better tyre IMO

well anythings an option, im just looking for better corners, its not the speed ( although that is nice ) i just want roads that are just corners and you get to flip the bike from one side to another and hold the corners well as quick as i can, thats the feeling i love, but i dont wana be cdhanging tyres every few hundred miles with super soft tyres that will grip like bollock but wear out really quickly

I'd stick a set of sportec M3s on. I've got em on my gixxer, lovely and sticky! So far I've done 4000 miles on them, including 4 trips to the Nurburgring and there is still several thousand miles left in them. I'm expecting atleast 6000 outa them

Re: How much am i looking at roughly....
i found the BT090's lasted ok on the 400's, genraly your front tyer lasts ages as its never under that much load, and the bike hasent got the tyer shreding power of a 1000cc so you'll see a good 4,000 odd miles id expect
i had BT090's on my 400 and they were perfect for very fast rides as well as everyday riding though snow floods ect come very well rated by me!

Re: How much am i looking at roughly....
morning,
my experience's with tyres on my zxr................. there was a dunlop d207 on the front ever since i bought the bike and iv only just changed it ( been on a year and half ) no problems in the wet snow and found loads of confidence in it on the nice hot roads too!! but to that one front tyre i put 2 or maybe 3 rears first was a bt090 i think then a bt014 both realy good tyres too never had any complaints with them except getting punctures within the last 100 miles or so of tyre life!
personall i just bought a pair of brand new d207's for 155 quid and fitted them myself, just need to get them balanced, with 200 miles under them they have been good so far, been to feet scrapeing angles on them and no worries
