best tourer/comuter tyre?

just wondering, because next year im gunna be commuting through london on it,
so wondering whats the best tyre for that use? i have a spare set of wheels that will have M1s on it, so mainly for the town riding and traveling down to sussex on it.

for hard wearing i would recommend the michelin macadams, not soo brill in the wet but lasted for ages.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Got 11,000 out of my BT020s great tyres, just got the BT021s fitted yesterday, bin good so far. Nice to have round Tyres Square ones are harder to get over ;P

i've heard good things about the 20's and the 21's. Cant really go far wrong with bridgestone

tail tidy, polished bits, custom paint job, k&n, dynojet, Full akropovik, down geared, GSXR calipers, hel brake lines front and rear & clutch line, maxtron resprung froks 120BHP

020's might last ages, but ive found them horrible to ride on ..

010's (or modern equivalent) last forever on lightweight bikes and actually have some feedback ..

Well i have my BT021s screbbed in, VEry good for a commuter tyre, but you might want something a bit stickier all depends. Swings and roundabouts i guess. I think that the 21, has more grip than the 20. More confident too scrapped my toes other day without realizing i was that far over, wasn't even hanging off.
