120/70/17 front tyre
Hi other zxr400 riders, as anybody fitted a 120/70/17 front tyre did you have any problems with it, how does it effect the handling any info would be appreciated.

People definitely have, as I think one of the Pirelli Diablo variants only comes in a 70% profile.
I haven't personally so I'll leave them to comment on any handling and clearance issues.

just do a quick search on 120/70 and you will see its been tried and tested with comments of rubbing the mudguard?
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

fitted a 120/70 Avon pro extreme wet to the front of the ZXR with absolutely no issues at all.
Makes the bike turn in quicker tho

Look in the race forum - I think just about all of them ran the 70 front.
I certainly used the 60 and the 70 on the roads, and can honestly say i couldn't tell the difference, other than knowing the 70 was supposed to be better on track!
Just about the same as when I tried a 160/55-17 rear...
