Super Corsa?

Post by Harvey Wishbone »

:smt006 Hi all, I've just got some nearly new Super Corsas for my track bike (H1) and I have my first trackday at SIlverstone 31st October. Thing is, I'm wondering how good they'll be if it get's a bit damp if you know what I mean! :smt017
The bike has Dunlop 207s fitted, which I don't like at all! Everytime I ride a bike with Dunlops on the road I end up slinging it into a ditch! So I'm not exactly keen on using those either! Lmao

Thanks in advance, Jamie

Sorry had to work a few extra hours so been off for few days

The supercosa pro are okak if damp if you get enough heat into the tyre
by using tyrewarmers

Only had one race this year in the wet at snetterton on supercorsa's and you just slow down or put wets on but they do move around

So if it is damp get them warm will be okay just dont push to find that amazing lap time till you get used to them

If it is very wet i wouldnt bother going out we would then use wets

hope this helps any more help pm me you phone number (land line)

Lmao, cheers for that, :smt003
I may get some other tyres, just in case it does turn out a bit on the damp side, I'd rather not waste my track time! Mebbe a pair of Pilot powers or something like that, I've been recommended the 090s if it's changeable :smt017

Cheers for that, when I race minimotos on the wet we have a choice of Junior Rs which are meant for the kids, but, make great inters or for full wet conditions we have "monsoons" which are very similer to a full wet.
Thanks for your help :smt001
