off the throttle wheelies

ok guys. i live in south wales now so no need for top whack speed. id like to gear the bike ( an h1 ) for some hairy throttle behavior. any idea how????

take off sprockets, fit different ones
but to be honest, I don't think you will be able to get it to wheelie off the throttle - going to say 13/50 will give you something like 30% more rear wheel torque and 30% less road speed than standard gearing for any given engine speed, but it's 30% of not very much to start with.
will still be hella quick ocmpared to a standard bike, until it revs out at about 110mph.
i'm going for a less extreme 14/47, but i need to be able to ride down the motorway without giong crazy!

Has anyone done this to thier zxr? 13/50 or 14/47?

I've got 14/45 on mine and you can tell the difference from low down. Its pretty loud down the motorway now as it basically revs an extra 1000rpm per 10mph.

Thats what im after really, im not too fussed about not riding around at 100mph+ anyways so wont be too bothered by the extra rpm to mph. It'll just be great to get up too speed a little bit quicker

I used 14/48 when i had a standard-ish engine and thats good. Dont go lower than a 14 on the front and dont use a 14 with anything less than a 45 rear or you will cut tracks into your swingarm.
you could even go a 14/50 with a new chain.

It does happen to mine in first!!
14/47 with 444cc kit - FCR flat slides and quarter turn throttle. (80 rwph) its a real pain in the ass on tight hairpins on road racing circuts!!
