chain split or endless???

Post by nick_c »

Hello,

Looking for a new chain and sprockets, the Tsubaki ones seem to be popular. looked on the B&Cexpress site and it states that all chains are supplied split.

Is split ok or are the endless type better?

Cheer's Nick.

Just had a thought, when they state split do they mean it has a split link? or does it mean that the chain is split to aid fitting and requires riviting once installed?

Nick.

more than likely mate it will come with a rivet link, refit the chain , pop the link in, get a small nut and a pair of mole grips and away ya go.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

coming from b&c express it means that the chain is supplied with a rivet link, so that you don't have to take the swingarm off to fit it.
