My brakes are average and im racing in a pre 89 class that means your brakes have to be made before 1989.

i know there is teh gsxr 01 caliper upgrade but i cant use them.

is there a possible brake upgrade from another model that would work on a 1989 zxr400? like nc30 or something similar?

Are your pistons nitrate coated - seems some models came with and others without.

If your looking for period calipers then a set of Nissins should sort you out - think it was TZR250s that used the best ones . something like a 28/32 piston that takes your eyes out when braking !

Not sure on their pitch so you might need adapters made - is that OK for the rules ?

I will have a wee hunt and see what 62mm there is out ther but 55 & 90 are more common.
