The brakes on my zxr were quite poor. when I came to stripping the brakes down I was quite shocked how corroded the pistons were in the calipers so I rebuilt the complete system with new seals and master cylinder kit some venhill braided brake lines new pads and some fresh brake fluid. Cleaned up the brake discs with disc cleaner this sorted my brakes out cost a bit to do but was well worth the time and envestment.

Need some more help!

I need some new decent brake pads for my ZXR400 H1! Any links place? For both back and front!

My discs are alsorusty.... Does this matter and how can I clean them?

Also reversing my bike is gettingharder. More stiff... Maybe they need bleeding? Please advise me :)

wemoto, b&c,ebay,m&p for brakes

likewise for rotors if yours are really bad.

when my rotors get a bit of surface rust go for a ride...all the braking will clean them up nice, i sometimes give them a quick rub with 80-grit emery cloth, if your brakes are binding thats an MOT fail, new pads might not cut it, you might need to do a full dissassembley and replace the seals.

warning, the rear brake can be a fucking nightmare!
