part not on micro

Post by Miles »

Hey guys, rebuilding rear caliper and after pressing out the bushing that the torque arm connects to I noticed that a small metal ring sits around the bushing. Upon looking at the rear caliper diagram to order one up I've discovered its not there? Bushing part number 42036.

Perhaps it comes with the bushing but I would have thought it would be on the diagram

Unfortunately not, I thought it would be located along with the bolt that goes through the caliper but no luck.

Very odd that its not in the diagrams

Yes that's the sleeve but the bushing doesn't appear in the diagram, maybe I'm just being thick. I'll just clean the old one up and reuse

Thanks guys

Sorry took so long, as you can see the metal ring should be in the hole that the bolt goes in, between the caliper and the bushing but I can't find it on the diagrams anywhere. Without it the bushing and bolt just rattle about.

My only thought is that maybe the steel ring and the bushing come together but the fische shows it as one :smt017

I took one out when I stripped the caliper so obv I need to put one back in
