Re: Size of front bleed nipple ?
the bleed nipples are M7 (1.00mm thread pitch), the threaded part is 9mm long with a 6mm solid end with a taper at the bottom. the hole is aproximately 1mm in diameter and sits on the flank of the solid metal part.
i would make sure to fully bleed and replace all the old fluid in your brakes with new DOT4 fluid, and maybe think about a full break down and rebuild (if buying everything brand new will set you back £20 for seals and £120 if you need all 8 brand new pistons) especially if the bike has done a few winters and you have no history on the maintenance of the brakes.
probolt sell brake caliper bleed nipples in stainless steel, treat yourself to new rubber caps at the same time to prevent dirt getting in.
