Realy struggling bleeding my front brakes for first time. I have new bleed nipples, seals and now master cylinder seals. I have stainless hoses which have been filled with fluid before connecting along with the caliper. Im getting no pressure at the lever but have started getting fluid draining at the nipples with few bubbles. This has been ongoing now for several weeks with no joy. Back brakes took 15 mins. Any tips or help please??

When I did mine I left the bleed nipple open and rapidly pumped the lever. Keep an eye on the fluid in the reservoir. Rebled after that but seemed to do the trick

make sure all the air is squeezed out of the tube from the reservoir to the mc or its just sucking air

The problem does seem to be around the m/c but with a rebuild kit fitted cant be there. Will continue to try over weekend

Try ye olde tie the brake lever to the handle bar trick, turn the bars so the master cylinder is at its highest point and leave over night

its really common to end up with air bubbles in the feed from the reservoir to the mc itself.. once they hit the mc it wont pump fluid..

take the top off the reservoir, pull the lever back to the bar and squeeze the rubber tube repeatedly till all the air is out and try slowly pumping the lever a few times (nipples closed), repeat till no sign of bubbles coming back through.. at some point you should get lever pressure and be able to bleed through normally.

Finally seem to have a front break!! Ended up unbolting the calipers and hanging them as high as the brake line will allow them to go and leaving them over night. Then bleeding yhe while they hang. They are not rock solid but it is a brake. Will refit and bleed again. But success. Now on with the final push :excited
