Re: Stripping brakes?
i just finished doing mine this week. it took ages! youll need a decent air compressor/tyre inflator that wont burn out easily! the last piston needed over 200psi according to the dial! (halfords have some which are half price at the mo). anyways...
im pretty new to all this mechanic malarky, but i managed it with a bit of persistance. its pretty self explanatory how the calipers work and come to piece once you start. just bleed em first and start undoing bolts left, right and centre! mine needed new seals, but the pistons were ok (i hope) once cleaned up.
http://www.wemoto.co.uk were by far the cheapest, theyll ahve all you need for a rebuild if necersary.
id say wear some gloves as brake fluid does weird things to ya! and once the calipers are off, a big strong vice really helps for stubborn bolts. ill put some pic on in a sec of before and after...
