rebuilding brakes...
bit slow here! how do you measure the bleed nipple?! what dimension, is it the length by the diameter of the nipple or the threaded bit or the 'head'? i are confused! also i think the seals measure at 30mm if anyone can confirm this it would be most appreciated! ta

I thought all bleed nipples were the same? No idea about the seals tho.

you need to measure thread pitch and diameter and go from there

bleed nipples are different and you need to get the right length. take your old one to a motor factors they should be able to match it, i just paid £1.38 for 2.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

well i done found out...
for future reference:
caliper seals are 34mm
bleed nipples are 7mm x 1.00mm

its the brake caliper piston seal, and dust seal... on an l3,
i think on the h model they are 30mm
